For Southwest Louisiana schools, churches and providers

Families arrive here with an award in hand and three questions: what does it cost, what are the fees, and is there a seat. Tutors and therapists get one: are you registered?

Approved schools

Fill in your listing

The state list tells families you exist, not what you charge or where you have room. Add tuition, fees, aid and open grades and we route families with funding to you.

Churches

Open a school or program

Four of the five parishes have one approved school or none. A church in Cameron, Allen, Beauregard or Jefferson Davis Parish starting a K-6 school or a registered learning program would be filling an empty map.

The route to approval

  1. Choose the model: full-time school, hybrid, or marketplace provider only. The last is the quickest way to start serving funded families.
  2. Seek annual BESE nonpublic approval through the Louisiana Department of Education and satisfy the Brumfield v. Dodd requirement.
  3. Register in Odyssey and complete its attestations.
  4. Set tuition with the $5,243 and $7,626 awards in mind; a price under the award is a powerful message to a family.
  5. Line up your billing with the quarterly deposits.

Listings are free during the preview period. We do not call anyone a featured partner unless they are one, and we label every commercial relationship.
